Hey y’all, I’m Ellen—but most people know me as Butterflyy.
Welcome to Butterfly’s Creative Café. Everything I do falls under my umbrella organization, BSL Inspire: Breaking the Silence Through Literature. Whether you are looking for me on YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook, you’ll find me under Butterfly’s Creative Café—that is where all the creativity lives.
I am a storyteller, a creator, and a woman who believes in turning life’s hardest moments into purpose, power, and art. As a 14-time published author, writing coach, motivational speaker, and filmmaker, I am the heart behind BSL Inspire.
My work is rooted in resilience and heritage. I am a proud New Orleans woman, born and raised in the Lower Ninth Ward. Everything I create is seasoned with culture and community storytelling.

As a Cook: With 18 years of professional cooking experience, I host a live cooking show on TikTok where I share recipes and kitchen inspiration straight from my heart to yours.
I am here to heal. My mission is to help people speak their truth and tell the stories the world tries to overlook. I created the Divine Feminine Energy (DFE) Train, a movement that helps women restore, heal, and reconnect to themselves through six principles: assist, encourage, inspire, motivate, nurture, and protect.
Whether I am helping authors write their books, coaching creatives, producing visuals, or speaking at events, my goal is the same: to lift voices, lift spaces, and remind people that your story still matters.
